God Calling for Our Assistance
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنصَارَ اللَّـهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّينَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّـهِ ۖ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ اللَّـهِ ۖ فَآمَنَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّن بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّائِفَةٌ ۖ فَأَيَّدْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِين
O you who have faith! Be God’s helpers, just as Jesus son of Mary said to his disciples, “Who will be my helpers for God’s sake?” The Disciples said, “We will be God’s helpers!” So, a group of the Children of Israel believed, and a group disbelieved. Then We strengthened the faithful against their enemies, and they came to prevail [over them]. (61:14)
The Merciful God, has asked for our assistance, to strive in the path of the guidance and faith of the people, be at the service of the Imam of Our Time, and He has assured to help us in this path. If God has asked for our assistance, what is our responsibility??!!
The Help Needed
According to the description of the activities that “Zoha” group is involved in both the educational programs as well as the Islamic occasions, we strongly and profoundly need your help and skills in the following areas:
- Writing literacy works such as stories and play scripts
- Designing games and groups activities
- Designing arts and crafts
- Illustrating for stories and Prezi’s
- Translating in various languages (To be done by natives)
- Producing animations
- Conducting programs for the occasions, and classes for children in the desired location
- Informing and establishing a link between Shi’as and inviting others who you may know to collaborate and use the contents
- Storytelling
The Muslim Bond
The Messenger of God-May God’s peace and blessings be upon him and his holy Household, at the beginning of his migration, began to establish brotherhood, friendship, and kindness among the two groups of Muhajireen [The Emigrants] and Ansar [The Helpers]. These two groups which had major differences, by the guidance of the Prophet of God and the help of the Most Merciful God, their hearts united, and established the Muslim community. Which was the basis for the dissemination of Islam.
Now, it is praiseworthy for Muslims and believers across this globe to endeavor and emulate the Prophet of God, and despite cultural, linguistic and style differences, put their hands in the hands of each other in solidarity and friendship. So, God willing together and with the help of each other, they can be successful in nurturing faithful children, and build their lives directed upon the same path of the Prophet and his immaculate Household [Peace Be Upon Them].
About Us
We are a group of Muslim immigrants to Western countries, who are concerned about the Islamic education of our children. We have met one another in our local mosques, Islamic centers, and through social networks. Together, we spoke of this mutual goal, the balanced and correct education of our children based on Islamic teachings. Each of us according to our abilities, have strengthened our foundations, and learned from it that together, by respecting each other’s opinions, and by avoiding in creating division, and disunity we can collaborate to achieve this earnest goal https://beit-mirkahat.com/
Our group commenced its work in 2010, and since then we have been working in various cities across Canada and the United States.
Zoha, is the name of one of the chapters of the Holy Qur’an. Zoha is referring to the beginning hours of the day, when the sun is peaking over the horizon before reaching its pinnacle. In a narration about Zoha that which God has sworn to in this chapter, it has been said: it is a reference to the reappearance of the Imam of Our Time (PBUH). We have adhered to this beautiful name, so with the help of God, our efforts may be a stepping stone in aiding the last divine authority, pave the way for his reappearance, and for the sun of theism, theocentrism, and fear of God to illuminate the world.
